Dot Lighting, the great value brand launched in mid 2004 by Illuma Lighting, is announcing its first major product extension with a comprehensive range of LED fittings. The range, sold through electrical wholesalers, is aimed at price conscious contractors.
Dot Lighting claims that with improved reliability, efficiency and a 50,000-hour lamp life, LEDs are increasingly in demand. It has therefore assembled a range to give installers, lighting wholesalers, retailers and end users a one-stop opportunity for creating unique and lively lighting schemes with this modern and exciting product.
In keeping with the brand's fun and approachable image, Dot LED products are available in vibrant, trendy colours for both commercial and residential settings. Suitable applications are shops, museums, swimming pools, gardens, verandas, pubs or clubs – the list is almost endless.
The Dot LED range, well illustrated and explained in a special brochure, covers fittings with various IP ratings, and includes 12V and 350mA drivers, and LED lamps.
There are round and square versions of an IP68 LED pool light for bringing life to swimming pools or ponds. The large range of IP68 and IP65 walk-over lights, two-way lights, spike spotlights, lawn lights, and plant lights will add a sparkle to decking, footpaths, gardens or indoors.
The IP44 recessed mini eyeball fitting is great for cabinet lighting or creating special effects in pubs and nightclubs. IP20 recessed wall-lights in a choice of square or circular cut-out designs produce an extra dimension to room displays.
Dale Kitching, Illuma's Marketing Director, explains: " We have had a terrific response since we launched Dot Lighting from professional installers and retailers looking for functional products that are keenly priced and easy to select. Dot LED fittings follow the same route."
He adds: "In the past there have been lots of promises and claims about LEDs. We have created the Dot LED range to enable Dot customers to gain real commercial benefits from a product that is truly in demand."
The Dot range now comprises over 220 products, including low voltage and mains downlights, bathroom lights, wall and ceiling spotlights and outdoor lighting, as well as LEDs. Although it is aimed at the lower end of the market, all the products have been quality tested, are CE marked and carry the relevant IP rating, where necessary. Considerable stocks are held in the UK, and products will be delivered to the customer within three days of the order being placed.
