Double Standards for Hippotizer

Double Standards for Hippotizer
Scene Change today announced the availability of the latest software upgrade for the Hippotizer Media Server making it more powerful and versatile than ever.

The new software adds a whole host of additional features, the most important of which are the ability to support two discreet outputs from the server and the two new operation modes allowing the user to select between Dual Server mode and Pan mode.
Dual server mode allows the Hippotizer to behave as if it were two Hippotizers in one box with each output having four media layers plus an independent master layer. As if that wasn't enough each output also has its own set of memory presets.
In Pan mode operation is as user friendly as it is in Standard mode, with the key difference being that the output of the system is twice the standard width - the left hand side of the screen is sent to output one and the right hand side of the screen is sent to output two. This allows the users to spread media layers across the two screens or designate a layer for display on screen one or two.

Thanks to a third video output, the Hippotizer can still retain its unique control centre and preview screens, giving the user the ability to create presets and manipulate the images offline before going into production.
In addition to the dual screen functions there are now even more presets with the stage having 256 presets on the master layer and 256 presets for each of the media layers.

The new software is available immediately and is a free upgrade to existing users of the Hippotizer Stage or HD systems. The pricing for all versions of the Hippotizer is unchanged, in line with Scene Change's policy of not charging for software upgrades wherever possible in order to keep the technology affordable across a diverse range of applications.
