Electrical and lighting components specialist, Prime Light has announced the addition of two new products to its family of wiring connectors manufactured by Ensto. The two new additions are a unique 6-pole T connector that allows fittings to be easily daisy-chained together and a 6-pole panel mount adaptor that enables a plug or socket to be mounted into the housing on a luminaire or control box.
These high quality wiring connectors are ideal for electrical power supply and control signal connection applications in lighting, heating and ventilation. They are widely used in prestige developments such as corporate headquarters/commercial offices in the City of London as the modular system allows fast wiring to be achieved even in the most complex of installations and makes alterations quick and easy. Additional benefits include flexibility of planning and budget saving as leads/harnesses can be wired in the factory and delivered to the installation site where they are simply plugged together once in situ – therefore enabling huge labour benefits.
The wiring system offers a comprehensive range of connectors from two to six poles and their double latch locking system ensures a totally reliable and safe connection. Rated up to 20A at 250/400V, the connectors can be supplied in different colours enabling easy identification of individual circuits. Importantly, different coloured connectors are not interchangeable to avoid any erroneous connections being made during installation.
Available from Prime Light's stock, the wiring connectors feature a wide range of international approvals including, IEC/EN 60998, UL, RINA, Lloyd's and DNV. Ideal for use in lighting control applications, the connectors are available pre-wired to customer specifications. They are also suitable for use where regular changes need to be made to circuits, e.g. theatres and concert halls.
