Mike Stoane Lighting develop new Tadpole

Mike Stoane Lighting develop new Tadpole
Mike Stoane Lighting have developed a new version of their Tadpole LED spot with a more sustainable design.

Many LED products are built around the assumption that LEDs will last forever and are therefore sealed for life and have to be disposed of in the event of LED failure, leakage or optical degradation.

Mike Stoane Lighting have always believed in making products that last and can be maintained, so they have completely redesigned the Tadpole mini exterior spot to make it rebuild-able. The new Tadpole is also more securely lockable and the IP rating has been increased to IP66. It has also been built to take a range of optics from 12 deg to 60 deg that can be changed on site and MSL are investing in custom optics to increase that range and the optical efficiency of the product.

Tadpole can be built (and rebuilt) with either Cree XRE on their own PCB with on board surge protection, Lamina or Luxeon K2 all of which offer efficiency, colour stability and colour rendering way beyond that of the not so distant past.

Mike Stoane Lighting will be showing their new Tadpole mini exterior spot on their stand V10 at the Arc Show.
