The Mistral range of post top lanterns has been developed to offer new solutions to the lighting of building approach roads and associated exterior car parks. The Mistral Road and Q luminaires are new to the range. The Mistral Road lantern available to suit 250 or 400W HQI-T or SON-T and 150W CDM-TT or SON –T lamps is designed to deliver a wide forward throw of light onto building approach roads. The luminaire is designed to combine the highest technical performance with a low cost of ownership though the use of highly durable materials and special attention to maintenance issues. IP66 ingress protection to the luminaire plus a separately sealed lamp compartment and the use of a corrosion resistant die cast aluminium assure high durability. The hinged canopy, canopy safety catch, automatic power disconnection and detachable gear tray all aid cost effective maintenance. Side and post top entry are offered each with 3 tilt angles and curved or flat glass front faces are available.
Mistral Q supplied with 250 or 400W HQI-T or 150, 250 or 400W SON-T lamps is a highly functional luminaire in a contemporary geometric shape designed to complement the rectangular areas being lit. As with the road lantern it is designed to deliver a wide forward throw to optimise pole spacing while also eliminating light pollution and controlling spill. Durability is assured by features such as the use of corrosion resistant aluminium, concealed hinges and stainless steel fixings.
