The Satin Bright reflector from Whitecroft Lighting is a new addition to the Mirage family of circular fluorescent downlighters. Combining low energy with high style, the Mirage range was developed in response to the requirements of lighting designers and specifiers to produce a versatile luminaire in a compact, easy-to-use format, making it ideal for providing a variety of creative effects for the retail environment.The Satin Bright reflector, which has been designed for use with the Mirage MD24, utilises an etched surface at its base to provide higher brightness at viewing angles whilst providing an illumination that is comfortable to view. The reflector injects sparkle and life into the ceiling plane without the intrusion of a dropped glass. All fittings in the Mirage range can be used with energy saving single or twin 18W and 26W TC-D, 32W and 42W TC-T or single 57W TC-T lamps.
Due to its horizontal lamp position, the MD24 can be cited in ceiling voids considered too restrictive for fluorescent downlighters. Engineered for reliability, low maintenance and ease of installation, the Mirage MD24 fits into a minimum ceiling void depth of 172mm and is retained via a ratchet spring mechanism. The MD24 is also available in emergency versions.
Whitecroft's Satin Bright Reflector eliminates the risk of fingerprints, whilst reducing the frequency of cleaning required when compared to similar downlighters.
