As an IP68 rated luminaire, the Pracht Tubis from Sill Lighting is completely waterproof and is designed for a number of arduous external applications.The Tubis luminaires have a 90mm diameter tubular housing which can be specified either in impact resistant clear polycarbonate, impact resistant opalized PMMA Prachtopal or acid and alkali resistant clear glass. This is designed to contain single lamp, twin lamp or triple lamp T5 or T8 fluorescent fittings in 14W to 58W versions.
The Pracht Tubis fluorescent luminaires are thus extremely versatile in their application, as like other Pracht fittings they are waterproof, dust proof and chemical proof.
The fittings are designed for surface mounting using variable mounting points with Pracht stainless steel tube clips so are suitable for ceiling, pendant, horizontal or vertical wall mounting. There is also a facility for through wiring so that the luminaires can be butted together for a continuous line of light, ideal for applications such as bridge lighting.
The Tubis luminaires are made to a high specification with short, age-resistant silicone seals and can be specified with electronic ballasts.
