Megaman has launched a new narrow beam reflector lamp, the CFL-AR111, with a narrow beam angle of 45° for application where focused illumination is required. Designed to as a direct replacement for conventional halogen reflector ø111 lamps, the new CFL-AR111 is available in a retrofit pack with a GX53 lampholder. The new lamp incorporates the company's exclusive Ingenium technology, which delivers breakthrough lighting performance and a superior operating life expectancy of 15,000 hours.Megaman's Ingenium technology combines improved life cycle switching and a shorter preheating time with an integral cooling tube that keeps operating temperatures to a minimum for enhanced safety.
With an operating life some 4 times longer than halogen and energy savings of over 78%, the CFL-AR111 offers lower maintenance costs and is ideal for use in areas such as boutiques, retail outlets, restaurants, hotels and exhibition halls.
The new lamps do not require a transformer and combine the directional performance of spotlights with colour temperatures of 3000K to 4000K.
