Museum specification track spots from Mike Stoane Lighting

Museum specification track spots from Mike Stoane Lighting
Series 7 is the new range of Museum specification track spots from Mike Stoane Lighting, which they will be showing at ARC07. The range is comprised of ML7 for AR111 lamps, MR7 for MR16 lamps and MC7 for CDMR111 lamps.

Mike Stoane Lighting developed their first track spot, MLX for the Museum of Scotland over nine years ago and it continues to be specified in museums and galleries all over the world. MLX for AR111 lamps and MRX for MR16 lamps have earned a reputation for being a joy to use, for being quick and precise to set up and locking so well that focus is not disturbed even after many lamp changes.

Series 7 retains everything that is great about MRX and MLX, but also takes on board all the feedback that they've received from Lighting Professionals over the last nine years. The MRX was never as easy to set up as the axially symmetrical MLX, this has been addressed by Series 7 fittings which all have full hemispherical beam coverage independent of track handing.

Series 7 is also aesthetically simpler and built a little more solidly (if that is possible!), and all the fittings share a strong family resemblance which allows a mixture of light sources to be used in a scheme.

Mike Stoane Lighting plan to continue making MLX and MRX.
