The Apollo luminaires from Pracht present a slim, elegant range of IP65 Class II rated fluorescent luminaires with sealed adjustable reflectors, designed for more aggressive environments as they are waterproof, dust proof and chemical proof.Available from Sill Lighting UK, the Apollo range has luminaire housings made in white fibreglass-reinforced, flame-resistant polyester resin which is also resistant to acid and alkalis.
The reflector systems are sealed, and adjustable and come in wide beam and narrow beam versions, both with specular reflectors inside for maximum efficiency or clear tube for all-round distribution, all types protecting the lamps. Cross blade louvres can be specified and diffusers come in acrylic, impact resistant polycarbonate or impact resistant acrylic ‘prachtopal'.
With reflectors adjustable for downlighting, uplighting and wall washing at various angles, the Apollo luminaires are ideal for a number of arduous applications such as underground car parks, railway stations and platforms, garage inspection bays and the chemical and food industries – as well as being durable architectural lighting solutions.
The Apollo fluorescent luminaires are available in either T8 or T5 versions and there are several models in the range to accommodate 18W to 58W T8 and 24W to 80W T5 lamps in a single or twin lamp format. Fittings can be specified with either screw ring lampholders or push fit lampholders which are ideal for luminaires installed in restricted or difficult to access spaces.
Designed with the contractor in mind too, the Apollo luminaires can be fitted easily by one person using the Pracht Clip System and its variable mounting points. Lamp changing is a single-handed operation as all lamp holders and reflectors feature retaining straps so they don't fall away when released.
All luminaries are made to a high specification with silicon seals and silver-plated contacts for durability and long life.
