The new corridorFUNCTION from TridonicAtco takes presence controlled lighting to a new dimension utilising standard, low cost components. Standard presence detectors and luminaires with PCA T5 ECO lp and PCA T5 EXCEL one4all lp control gear is all that is required to provide presence-controlled lighting, particularly in rooms with no natural daylight such as underground garages and warehouses. The corridorFUNCTION negates the need for a separate controller utilising the switchDIM input terminal and can be programmed so that if there is no one in the room the light is not switched off, as is the case with non-dimmable control gear, but dimmed to a lower light level. It can then be switched off automatically after a preset delay.
The corridorFUNCTION enables the use of any number of presence detectors and luminaires to be connected in parallel. This means that long corridors or large areas such as underground garages can be simply controlled and yet well lit.
