Mike Stoane Lighting's rugged IP rated tubes have always been versatile and recently they have developed some innovative ways to use them as the waterproof core of integrated architectural lighting systems. This uplighting system developed with LDPi for Bahrain World Trade Centre is finished to match the building façade and is fitted with custom bracketry to seamlessly integrate with the building structure.
The channel ends are partially open to allow drainage of sand or water.
The tubes are often fitted with waterproof plugs and sockets allowing off site maintenance and are also being used behind louver panels for several bridge projects.
See the exterior section of their website for more details of the tubes themselves.
