HPL Long–life with 1,500 hours of life

HPL Long–life with 1,500 hours of life
The life of high-performance halogen lamps has been significantly extended with the long–life versions of the HPL. At an average 1,500 hours, the 575W version now burns nearly four times as long as the standard lamp, the 750W even makes it up to five times.

Pivotal for the vastly longer life of these lamps is their new filament design. Though the luminous flux of the long–life versions measures about a fifth less than that of standard lamps, their ultra–compact filament geometry with an extremely small focal point ensures that the HPL series per se has a higher luminous efficacy than comparable lamps.

More applications

The HPL lamps are designed for use in stage technology and television studios as much as for other applications in the entertainment sector. With the new long–life versions and the resulting longer maintenance intervals, the HPL lamps are also ideal for producing powerful architectural lighting effects.

Perfect fit

The HPL lamps are specially suited for use in the ellipsoidal spotlights of the "Source Four®" series from Electric Theatre Controls (E.T.C.) and are produced under licence from ENTERTEC Inc.
