Serve 6 is a new 6 x 55W TC-L luminaire from Whitecroft Lighting that meets the growing demands for higher light output luminaires in sports halls. Serve 6 meets CIBSE LG4 guidelines and has a low profile that minimises intrusion into playing areas in low ceiling height installations. Serve 6 utilises Micro 4 reflectors and has a punched grille that protects the luminaire from impact but does not enable shuttlecocks to lodge; this grille is hinged for easy maintenance. The control gear for Serve 6 is housed in separate pods to enable operation in ambient temperatures up to 35°C, even in the emergency version. Lockable lamp holders ensure that lamps remain in place following impact from a ball.
Serve 6 can be surface mounted or suspended and has an efficient design that minimises the number of installation points required for a project. Although primarily designed for use in sports halls and tennis centres, Serve 6 is also infinitely suitable for the illumination of warehouses, factories and distribution centres.
