The new x-touchBOX from TridonicAtco enables task-specific lighting moods to be programmed and automatically activated in all DALI lighting control systems when used in conjunction with the stylish x-touchPANEL. The DALI sequencer enables lighting moods (scenes) to be called up one after the other automatically. The x-touchBOX and x-touchPANEL combine simple configuration of lighting moods with simple operation. These two control units with integrated sequencers from TridonicAtco are ideal for lighting systems in which dynamic light, changes of scene or defined sequences are required.Up to 99 independent lighting sequences can be stored, each capable of calling up to 16 lighting scenes any number of times, allowing the mood in any room to be changed at any time. In addition, a total of seven "schedules" can be defined. These calendar-controlled sequences are particularly useful in the office environment where on weekdays a particular lighting scene will be called up at the start of the working day and at the end of the day a different scene will be chosen for overnight. At weekends yet another procedure can be selected. Such control of the DALI lighting management system can also improve the energy efficiency of the building.
As a plug & play solution, TridonicAtco's x-touchBOX provides intelligence in a handy and robust box that can be simply placed on a suitable surface or mounted on a wall. This DALI system is also good for the contractor because only two cables have to be connected, the mains voltage cable and the DALI control cable. Other benefits include an integrated power supply, cable strain relief, cable routing and terminal covers.
