Whitecroft Lighting is launching the Aerial hibay luminaire as a real alternative to 400W HID solutions. Utilising 6 x 80W T5 fluorescent lamps, the Aerial luminaire provides uniform vertical illuminance and even distribution at heights over 4 metres, allowing for optimum spacing between luminaires. Aerial has a distinctive canopy measuring 1500cm x 600cm and separate two and four lamp switched circuits to provide three light output levels. The luminaire offers instant lighting with minimal warm up and can also be fitted with integral emergency/easy test. The superior performance of the T5 lamp, when compared with HID hibays, provides greater illuminance in the latter half of the lamp life before a scheduled lamp change.
