Universal Fibre Optics have launched a new version of their popular surface mount end fitting which has a ground spike allowing it to be securely mounted into earth or wet concrete. Stainless steel construction for the upper part of the fitting ensures durability and a long lasting attractive appearance while the spike is sturdily made from black powder-coated steel. The beam is focusable between approximately 25 and 45 degrees and the fitting accepts end-lit fibre optic cable with an M10 x 1mm threaded termination. The 10DBRS is ideal for illuminating garden features or to wash outside walls where there is no solid surface to mount the fitting to. During focussing, sealant can be applied to the thread to prevent water ingress. It is equally suited to domestic and commercial applications where there is not free public access."Advertisements
