It is now even easier for the acclaimed Ex-Or MLS Managed Lighting System to be reprogrammed to meet the changing needs of office users, following the launch of a new hand-held remote control programmer.Quick and easy remote adjustment has always been a key feature of the Ex-Or MLS, the flexible and user-responsive building-wide managed lighting system. Now the new hand-held programmer has been restyled and many more useful functions have been added.
The programmer is used by the designated buildings and facilities manager to set or alter all the programmable features incorporated into the network of communicating detectors within the Ex-Or MLS. This is achieved by simply pointing the programmer at the nearest detector.
Using the new user-friendly graphics panel on the programmer, the user can check the current settings with a one-press download and, if any changes are required, just key in the new settings.
With many other systems, if the need to alter the office configuration arises - when workstation locations are changed for example - an electrician has to be called out to rewire the lights, or the necessary changes have to be programmed in by someone with specialist knowledge at a central computer. All this is made unnecessary by the Ex-Or MLS hand-held programmer.
Key features of the new programmer include:
- Quick and easy to use.
- Built-in comprehensive help menu, meaning there is no need to phone for technical support.
- Enables all functions of the MLS Managed Lighting System to be programmed remotely.
- Software updates can be downloaded from the internet into the programmer.
