Skylink from Hacel
Skylink is a versatile, bezel or bezel free, continuous lighting system with a choice of recessed or flush fascias which stylishly integrates Fluorescent and Accent lighting into a purposeful and efficient lighting system. The intuitive design of Skylink ensures rapid construction of the framework and simple installation of the luminaires enabling a wide variety of lighting concepts to be quickly and easily conceived.
Skylink Ported Celeste Fascias are available in Solo, Duet and Trio formats and incorporate retaining springs which locate the Fascias neatly and accurately into the extruded aluminium Skylink system. Recessed and Flush fascias are suitable for use with both Bezel and Bezel Free Mounting Frames. The Celeste lamp housings are manufactured from precision die cast aluminium and the two sizes offer a wide choice of high performance, energy efficient light sources, wattages and reflector options. Spring loaded pivots provide smooth and easy pan and tilt adjustment and clip out of the fascias for easy lamp changing. Each Ported Fascia is complete with integral high quality electronic gear or transformer and is supplied with a prewired Ribbon Connector which provides quick and easy connection to the continuous Ribbon Cable. Powder coated White, Black, Graphite and bi-colour combinations are available as standard with alternative RAL colours available to special order.
Skylink Fluorescent Fascias are available in Louvre, Daylight and Etched Glass versions, all with the choice of Recessed or Flush formats. The Louvre Fascia utilises a high performance, parabolic, matted optical control device which has a Light Output Ratio of 0.74 and is LG7 compatible at 70:50:20 reflectances. Commercial areas requiring LG7 are catered for by the 28W to 49W versions. Retail Environments are ideally suited to the higher output 80W version. The Skylink Daylight Fascia recreates the appearance of 'Virtual Daylight' combining uniform illuminance, visual comfort and low glare with a high apparent brightness and is ideally suited to Commercial, Retail and Educational premises. Further information is shown on page 88. For optimum performance the Daylight Fascia should be used with Colour 865 (6500k) lamps. The Skylink Etched Fascia has a softly diffused, tempered glass to create a clean and contemporary appearance with an excellent level of ambient illumination.
Skylink Spacer Fascias are available in various sizes and are designed to compliment the other Fascias in the range. Special lengths can be manufactured to order to complete the system. SkyLink PIR Spacer Fascias have inbuilt Passive Infra Red detectors which provide various operating modes to improve energy efficiency. A choice of two PIR Control Devices is available to control the system, see page 79.The 'Controller' offers simple remote on, off and dimming modes. The 'Programmer' offers sophisticated control of various operations including presence detection and daylight linked illumination. PIR Fascias are suitable for use with digital dimming gear types F, G and V, a Digital Serial Interface is not required. A single PIR can control up to four Fluorescent Fascias. Advice regarding the advantages of the system is available from our Technical Department.
