The Fitzgerald Lighting Group has reported the acquisition of the assets and intellectual property rights of the product ranges originally designed and manufactured by Exodus Electronic.

The award winning company brought to the market place a range of lighting controls actuated by radio frequency signals. These products provided facilities including wire-free switching, intelligent marshalling, occupancy and light-level sensing and scene setting.

Peter FitzGerald, Managing Director of Fitzgerald Lighting when announcing the acquisition, said "pro- CONTROLS already exists in our product range as a brand, and our initial aim is to ensure continued supply and support of these products to our customers. We have already reinforced engineering backup with the
employment of a key member of the technical team." He continued "With many initiatives to encourage the use of energy efficient lighting, we see pro-CONTROLS as an important part of our product portfolio, and we will be working with our partners to ensure a seamless transition."
