A variety of decorative light fittings from SKL Lighting are playing an important role in enhancing the overall ambience at Café Rouge restaurants nationwide. Café Rouge restaurants specialise in rustic Mediterranean fare as well as American dishes served in relaxed surroundings. Café Rouge is owned by Tragus Group Holdings Ltd, with over 160 sites across the country serving over 12 million meals every year. Working directly with Tragus Holdings on a brief to create a visually stimulating environment that would complement the style of the interiors, SKL supplied chandeliers, wall bracket and pendant fittings with scene setting dimming controls to ensure the correct ambience at all times. The Café Rouge situated in the Met Quarter of Liverpool is unique as it has a very high, central feature ceiling which required a very large chandelier. For this SKL designed a 3-tiered, Flemish style chandelier of 2.5 metres in diameter with 42 arms, tailored to match smaller single and twin tier chandeliers in the remainder of the restaurant. SKL also designed and manufactured rustic style external fittings for the project.
Recently SKL have taken account of the new technology provided by Megaman's DIMMERABLEŽ range of candle lamps and specified these for inclusion within all suitable decorative fittings within the Café Rouge estate, lowering energy and maintenance costs to the client.
