CP Electronics Make Light Work of Xaverian College
CP Electronics have installed controls at Xaverian College to provide accurate and easy adjustment of light levels. This is vital for today's classrooms which have to cater for both traditional teaching and high tech presentations. Flexibility and ease of use are key benefits.

CP Electronics has supplied it's new Vitesse Plus System with Lighting Control Modules. It has 10 luminaire outputs, which can be configured into 3 switching channels. The Vitesse Plus Lighting Control Modules have the facility for connection to external devices such as light switches (ELV), presence detectors, and micro wave sensors, these are all part of CP's innovative Enerwave range.

The Enerwave unit is self-contained and requires no separate control or power supply boxes, which makes installation simple. And it's detection range of up to 30 metres makes it ideal for use over large areas.

Presence management has also been included in the scheme to allow the switching on and off of the luminaries, whether or not, someone is in the room. The system also provides daylight linking on the seats closest to windows so that illumination can be dimmed in those areas when sufficient natural daylight is available.

Andrew Cooke from Syncro Ltd, specifiers of the project commented "We are extremely happy with the installation, the CP solution was very competitive and good value for money. The presence management system within the college has an additional feature so that the lighting controls can be easily reset each time the room is used, providing an installation that is both flexible and comprehensive".
