Hacel are a design driven company, committed to the development and manufacture of high quality, energy efficient lighting products for the Retail, Commercial and Architectural sectors. Our entire range is designed and manufactured in the UK at our 40,000 sq. ft purpose built facility in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our products are specified throughout the UK and Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Australia.

Design is at the forefront of our philosophy and is demonstrated by the investment we have made in our operations. The latest in CAD/CAM, rapid prototyping and computerised machinery are employed in the design, engineering, and manufacturing processes to ensure products of the highest calibre are produced. This is supported by manufacturing that operates on a continuous three shift, twenty four hour basis to ensure 'on time' delivery of products. Hacel are committed to continuous improvement and investment throughout all facets of our organisation. Quality and environmental considerations are of paramount importance and integral to the design and manufacturing processes. Our mission is to provide products that inspire Architects, Consultants, Designers and Lighting Specifiers to express their creativity and fulfil their Client's aspirations and expectations.

Hacel have been committed to utilising energy efficient lighting components and controls in our product range for over twenty five years by adopting new technologies wherever possible. We are acutely aware of the current global changes affecting us all and realise that the industry as a whole must adopt the latest technology available to improve the standard of luminaires and efficiency of lighting projects. Consequently, our Lighting Design Engineers and Project Design Consultants are responsible for creating projects incorporating Hacel Energy Efficient Luminaires, Intelligent Lighting Controls and Modular Wiring Systems. These are combined to maximise the Economic, Environmental and Energy related benefits not only for the Client but for the environment as a whole.
