Company Profile:

Founded in 1983 by Swedish architect Jonas Ewe, Candela pioneered the use of miniature low voltage lighting technology in projects such as Richard Rogers' Lloyds Building.

Candela's luminaires offer a minimal lighting solution without superfluous detail and in which glare is almost eliminated. Our extensive range of light sources includes compact fluorescent and ceramic metal halide housed in identical luminaires giving visual harmony throughout the lighting design.

Our product portfolio includes the Original range seen by many as a design classic and used by architects all over the world for their own homes as well as commercial projects.

Candela products are designed and manufactured in the UK. Clients are welcome to visit our studio in Clerkenwell, London, but please give us a call first.
