Whitecroft Lighting has reported a substantial 23% increase in sales, to £31.4m, for the year ending March 2006; with pre–tax profits doubling to over £2m. This is the sixth consecutive year that the company has achieved an increase in profitability. Over the last few years, Whitecroft Lighting has developed both standard and bespoke products that are designed to meet the specific needs of customers operating in key market sectors – with particular focus on education, workplace, healthcare and retail. These ranges are supported by a highly reactive manufacturing operation that enables standard products to be customised within very short lead times, so that lighting designers are no longer limited by the off–the–shelf products available.
