As part of its continued development programme Scolmore International, the leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical accessories and interior/exterior lighting has acquired an additional 15,000 sq foot adjacent to its existing facility at Tamworth, Staffs. The existing 41,000sq ft complex had been purpose built four years ago to house Scolmore's administrative and sales departments along with a large warehouse facility. The additional storage area will be an extension to the already established warehouse to enable the company to increase stock of its core product ranges to cope with customer demand and maintain current service levels.
Scolmore have enjoyed uninterrupted growth since the company was formed 13 years ago and the increased warehouse capacity is an essential part of their planning to sustain the growth pattern over coming years.
