Venture Lighting Europe Ltd and Harvard Engineering Plc have entered into a technology and supply agreement which sees the two companies working closely together in the development of advanced electronic ballasts for Venture's new lamp designs. The agreement also enables Venture to manufacture these new products at their factories in India.
"Harvard is world-class in both the engineering and manufacture of electronic ballasts, making them a perfect complement to our own cutting edge HID technology," enthused Venture CEO Wayne Hellman. "With numerous exciting lamp developments in the pipeline we needed a flexible and responsive design company that could not only keep pace with us but also add value to the product development process. This partnership is already beginning to generate exciting new solutions for our customers," he continued.

It enables Harvard to be at the forefront of lamp-ballast technology whilst retaining its independence. At the same time, it facilitates Venture's commitment to introducing new lighting systems at attractive price points - and distributing them to areas that Harvard has been unable to service.
