Due to continued expansion, Megaman UK has announced its relocation to a larger, purpose built sales and distribution centre in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, a prime location for access to all major motorways and rail links. The new facility provides increased warehousing space, as well as room for additional technical resources. The new premises also includes extra office space to house the company's ever expanding sales and customer service teams. "With the increased demand for energy saving lighting products we need to extend our warehousing facilities so we can increase our stockbuilding. This will enable us to stock lamps from all of our ranges and continue the prompt delivery service our customers have come to expect from us" commented Megaman's UK managing director, John Murphy.
Since entering the UK market, Megaman's innovative compact fluorescent designs have made major in-roads into applications that have traditionally been the preserve of incandescent lamps. These include replacements for GU10 halogen spotlights, as well as energy efficient alternatives to standard and decorative GLS lamps.
